I did a cvs-upgrade to 20020920.1, merged a tiny Makefile change
otherwise keeping yours, and "duploaded" the result.  So start from
that, if you want.

(It will take a day or two to migrate into the "unstable" part of the
Debian archive, but it's on http://snot.... now.)
