Ok, I got a bit further. The new plan was to compile a minimal program:
val _ = print "Hello World\n"
This goes well for the SML part of the code. There was a bit of
defined(__NetBSD__) that had to be added. Right now my problem is
centered around fork(), since it does not find the GMP library when
linking the stuff together. I have no direct clue as to why it wont,
since running the code on the commandline just thereafter works
perfectly.
Maybe I should check the data when it has mar(shalled)/ched to the C
universe.
