Felix is platform independent .. so is Ocaml.

Felix is the fastest language translator available :) <g>

Ocaml isn't so fast, but it is quite decent.

Felix compiler is written in Ocaml. It builds on all platforms
without any modifications.

Java isn't quite so portable, if you need JNI support ..
