I don't think I understand how to use this code "generically".  In particular, is it the case that I need to extend the base FunctionalRecordUpdate structure so that it has as many

   makeUpdate<n>

implementations as there are fields in my largest ever record?

Also, the wiki's implementation refers to

   Fold.step2

but this function isn't given in the page describing Fold.
