[MLton] testing MLton's new front end

Hi Andreas.  We just released an experimental version of MLton with a
new front end, which we hope matches the Definition of SML and
produces reasonable error messages.  I imagine that you have
accumulated lots of good tests for corner cases of the Definition over
the years.  We'd appreciate you trying out this new version of MLton
on any tests you may have, large or small, and sending us any feedback
on problems you find with the new front end.  You can grab the
