[MLton] 20051202 on Debian build failures

Anyone have any idea why the build of MLton 20051202 on HPPA failed?
The error message was:

  Compiling MLton runtime system for self.
  /usr/bin/make -C runtime
  make[3]: *** [runtime] Trace/breakpoint trap

Also, the PowerPC Debian build failed due to running on voltaire,
which doesn't have much memory.  It would be great if someone could
request to an appropriate person that the build rerun on a PowerPC
with more memory, e.g. as happened in the November 10 build on malo.
