[MLton] mlton code generation

Is there an easy way to instruct mlton to somehow show the code that it is
generating for a user function. I tried using "-codegen c" and looking at the
generated C code but it's very hard to understand what is going on due to the
amount of code generated and due to name renaming and all that. Anyway the
code one gets from running the C compiler may be very different from the one
generated by native (it is certainly a lot slower).

Even dumping some internal format say before instruction selection (or
preferably immediately afterwards) would be useful so that people can get some
idea as to what is being generated and so that they can suggest optimization
improvements.

Thanks for any suggestions,
Neophytos
